Gwyneth Paltrow Wants To Meet Jennifer Lawrence

Gwyneth Paltrow wants to meet Chris Martin’s new girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence, according to the latest reports. The GOOP creator “consciously uncoupled” from the Coldplay frontman earlier in the year and it was thought that she cheated on him with Brad Falchuk.

Jennifer Lawrence has been a fan of the British band since she was a teenager and is said to be dating the musician. At first, Gwyneth didn’t want Chris to speak his new girlfriend’s name in front of their children, but now it seems that she is keen on getting to know the actress.

Gwyneth Paltrow wants a meeting with Jennifer Lawrence in order to determine her demeanor with reference to whether or not she should be allowed around her children. Of course, it is a parent’s rights to ascertain whether or not it’s a good idea to have someone around their kids, but it seems that Paltrow is taking this a step too far. Even still, it may prove to be an awkward encounter for Lawrence should she agree.

An insider close to the situation said, “She’d like to spend a little time with her and thinks they’d probably get along. Gwyneth wants to be sure about her.”

Gwyneth Paltrow seems like a control freak with regard to her children and perhaps should trust her estranged husband’s judgment. Surely, he isn’t questioning her about who she has around their kids?
