‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’ Wedding: Uncle Poodle Married In Scrapped Season

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo got scrapped before the world could see the wedding of Uncle Poodle AKA Lee Thompson to his boyfriend Alan Stevenson.

In case you’ve forgotten, the show was canceled following reports that its matriarch Mama June Shannon was dating her convicted child molester ex-boyfriend Mark McDaniel. She reportedly used her daughter’s money in order to buy McDaniel a vehicle and set him up with a place to stay. TLC fans were pretty disgusted with that because McDaniel was the perpetrator against Shannon’s daughter.

Now, we’ve learned that the canceled season of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo features a wedding between Uncle Poodle and his husband. See what Mama June Shannon has deprived the world of?

According to a report from Radar Online, the couple had their nuptials at Le Buzz in Marietta, Georgia. Alana Thompson and the couple’s cat Scooter served as flower girls and Mama June Shannon officiated the ceremony. Unfortunately, the union isn’t binding because the state of Georgia has not passed marriage equality laws just yet. Still, the wedding ceremony hasn’t lived up to the men’s expectations and they are looking for a do-over.

A source close to the situation said, “A lot of family members couldn’t attend because it was planned last minute, but Lee and Alan’s drag queen friends were there. It was certainly a scene!”

The source went on to say, “It was not what they wanted and didn’t represent who they were. It was thrown together last minute by TLC. There were only four days to prepare. Lee and Alan are now planning a more heartfelt ceremony. They just have to find the right time and place!”

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was canceled prior to the airing of anything that went down in the show’s final season. Despite that, the show’s actors were said to have received their pay even though TLC pulled it off of the air.
