Donald Trump announced a new season and new cast of Celebrity Apprentice, and the contestants include Kate Gosselin and Terrell Owens, to name a few.
Trump announced the new cast on TODAY this morning. Aside from Reality TV star Gosselin and former NFL star receiver Owens, the new season will include Sharknado and Beverly Hills 90210 star Ian Ziering, musician Kevin Jonas, wacky reporter Geraldo Rivera, retired baseball star Johnny Damon, Brandi Glanville from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, TV Host Leeza Gibbons, olympians Shawn Johnson and Jamie Anderson, and Sig Hanson from Deadliest Catch.
D-listers like Vivica Fox, Gilbert Godfried, Lorenzo Lamas, and Kiesha Knight Pulliam round out the cast of season 14. In addition, the late Joan Rivers, who was a star in season 8 of Celebrity Apprentice, filmed some scenes for the new season. She will appear in segments of the show.
“Physically she was great, but she had an amazing mental strength,” Trump said of Rivers. “I saw her a few days before she passed away, and I want to tell you, I said, ‘She’s going to live forever.’ You looked at her — she was so strong and so vibrant.”
“We decided, in memoriam, we’re going do something and honor her during those two shows,” he continued. “She was so good, and I think she would have liked it that way.”
Rivers will appear as a judge in two episodes.
The new season of Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice, headlined by the inclusion of Kate Gosselin, will premiere on NBC January 4.
