Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox were involved in a car accident on Thursday in Los Angeles when a drunk driver changed lanes and swiped the Range Rover they were in. The couple was unharmed following the accident, but were shaken because of the speed of the other driver – along with his obvious impairment.

Green opened up about the accident during the 6th Annual Night of Generosity Gala in Beverly Hills. He revealed, “It could have ended horribly. We were talking about it today, on the way to run errands. I was saying, ‘We’re really lucky.’ He was going 50 miles an hour, and we were going 25 down the street, and we hit head-on. The inertia of that is life changing. That’s life changing for us.”

Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox’s two sons Noah and Bodhi weren’t in the vehicle at the time of the accident. Green said, “[The driver] hit the air bag. I got out of the car. I shook hands with the man. The cars did their jobs. That being said, he came around the corner very fast. Let alone, I’ve heard, he had a few drinks.”

When the accident happened, Green alerted the cops to the scene where the drunk driver was arrested and taken into custody. In another interview, the former “90210” actor said, “I’m okay. My wife is okay. We walked away. I mean, I’m not a doctor, so I don’t know if I’m ‘okay’ okay, but we’re both walking.”

Green revealed, “Your head is reliving the moment over and over again, and you start thinking, ‘Could I have done anything differently?'”

Following the accident, he recalled some thankful moments. He said, “A moment of gratitude. A moment of giving back. A moment of ‘Thank you, God.’ And then a moment of, ‘I’m going to have more of these moments.'”

Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox are doing well following the accident and here’s hoping that the other driver is getting the help he needs not to drink and drive again.
