Oscar winner Anne Hathaway recently said she would love to participate in a sequel to The Devil Wears Prada, and that the project “would be fun.” Hathaway starred opposite Meryl Streep in the original 2006 film.

When asked about shooting the first film, the 31-year old actress discussed working with Meryl Streep. “When I met her she gave me a huge hug,” Hathaway said. “And I’m like, ‘Oh my god, we are going to have the best time on this movie,’ and then she’s like, ‘Ah sweetie, that’s the last time I’m nice to you.’ She then went into her trailer and came out the ice queen and that was really the last I saw of ‘Meryl’ for months, until we promoted the film.”

Hathaway also said that Streep was “the most amazing, warm person” and that she would “love” to do a sequel for the film. “Wouldn’t that be fun? I’d love to do that, but I don’t know if there is any plan for it.”

In The Devil Wears Prada, Hathaway played Andy Sachs, an eager young intern at Vogue magazine who must learn how to deal with the massive ego and fierce frankness of magazine editor Miranda Priestly, played by Streep. The film is based on a book written by Lauren Weisberger. Streep’s performance in The Devil Wears Prada would nab her an Oscar nomination for Best Actress.

Anne Hathaway, who won an Academy Award for Les Miserables in 2012, can be seen this weekend in the Christopher Nolan space epic, Interstellar, starring opposite Matthew McConaughey.
