Angelina Jolie is featured on the front cover of the December 2014 issue of “Vanity Fair” magazine and inside the actress talks about married life, directing Brad Pitt in their new movie and her possible political aspirations.
Jolie talked of marriage to Pitt, saying, “It does feel different. It feels nice to be husband and wife.”
Angelina Jolie is also directing her husband in their shared movie “By The Sea”. Of that, she revealed, “A few friends asked if we were crazy… [A film about] a married couple going through some difficulties…and I’m directing him.”
Jolie and Pitt were married on August 23, 2014 after being together since 2005. They were said to be putting off their wedding until everyone in the nation was able to legally marry.
With regard to their wedding vows, she said that their six children wrote out them for the big occasion. She said, “They did not expect us never to fight, but they made us promise to always say, ‘Sorry,’ if we do. So they said, ‘Do you?,’ and we said, ‘We do!'”
Jolie also talked of their wedding cake, saying, “There was no cake, so Pax made a cake. The kids made little pillows for the rings, and Knox practiced [being a ringbearer] with an acorn that kept falling off the pillow. Brad’s mom went and picked some flowers and tied them up.”
Angelina Jolie concluded her interview with the publication with the notion that she may run for political office in the future. She said, “When you work as a humanitarian, you are conscious that politics have to be considered. Because if you really want to make an extreme change, then you have a responsibility. But I honestly don’t know in what role I would be more useful – I am conscious of what I do for a living, and that [could] make it less possible. I am open.”
