Nice article and so accurate. We all know that sales people are the worst for updating systems and I would say general admin… unless of course there’s some ££’s in it. I put myself in this camp.
So if I am going to use a CRM system it is going to have to be easy to use. I also want to be able to add information wherever and whenever I want. The last thing I want to do is to go and see a prospect or customer and then have to go all the way back to the office to add some notes. I want to be able to add this type of information whilst it’s still fresh in my memory, either from my phone or tablet or laptop. Not only that I also want this information to be made available to my managers. And for managers to get to this information by far the easiest method is to have drill down dashboards, giving a top level view but also if my managers want to drill down into this info they can.
We all know that if it’s easy to add information onto your crm then it’s likely to be updated, which means good in good out. Time is money.
