From the latest social media chatter on CoinMarketCap, it seems that this meme cryptocurrency is relaunching.
We did a deep dive into Shiba Samurai’s whitepaper, and found some points that might make SHIBURAI a good investment for traders if it does return. Although proceed with caution:
Dynamic Access Funds
Dynamic Access Fund was a dedicated investment fund designed to maximize returns for the users in a risk-adjusted and safe manner. The official whitepaper even claimed that within the three days of launch, DAF (Dynamic Access Funds) was able to accumulate 123ETH. When you consider the crypto’s limited userbase, that amount could’ve meant huge gains for the community.
Governance Token
SHIBURAI attempted to do something different from other meme coins. That is, it introduced great utilities, including governance. Shiba Samurai holders could vote on how the community uses the funds on the DAF. When the project first launched, the fund distribution was divided into the following parts:
- Launchpad Access: 30%
- Node/Chain Validation and Bot Investments: 10%
- Stable Reward Investment: 30%
- High Risk and High Yield Investment: 30%
Deflationary Liquidity Accelerator
Shiba Samurai introduced one of the most advanced and scalable burning mechanisms known as the Deflationary Liquidity Accelerator. The tokens weren’t sent to a burn address but are removed from existence by withdrawal from the liquidity pool and exchange transaction. That is done by eliminating ETH/SHIBURAI pair from paired liquidity from Uniswap.
Afterwards, ETH goes back to the Automated Market Maker (AMM), and Shiba Samurai is removed through withdrawal from the LP. It increased the ratio of paired ETH and the scarcity of tokens – giving rise to the concept of Transcendence.
Shiba Samurai Armory
The goal of Shiba Samurai was to unite all cryptocurrencies by developing an advanced swap that can connect 7 EVMs together. It would have allowed users to swap their cryptocurrencies across multiple compatible chains without paying a high fee. That fee would go to users as rewards and could’ve been a source of passive income for the traders.
Additionally, in a bid to ensure that there were no rug-pull scams for the cryptocurrencies, Shiba Armory would have had two mechanisms:
- Token Locking: The SHIBURAI tokens would not be immediately withdrawable. The locking mechanism ensured that the developers didn’t pull a rug after the initial pump post-CEX listing.
- Token Vesting: With token vesting, all the governance access to presold tokens was controlled via smart contracts. It also would have made unlocking the tokens trustless and predefined.

Other than voting on the usage of funds on DAF, Shiba Samurai holders could also have used their voting powers to govern the direction of Shiba Samurai’s development. They could vote on project proposals. For ease of access, the developers implemented a snapshot to give voting power to the holders.

What are the Risks of Investing in Shiba Samurai?
Despite having many positives, many risk factors are associated with Shiba Samurai.
Little Social Media Engagement
No one out there is talking about the Shiba Samurai. None of the developers have even come forward in recent times. While there are some conversations about this cryptocurrency on Twitter, it is mostly about what happened to it.
Not Much Relaunch News
The devs mentioned that they were about to relaunch Shiba Samurai back in July 18th, 2022, to July 25th, 2022. However, not many updates were given after those initial posts. There are those who are hyping up the project as it would have features such as 5% taxes, 70% supply cut, transcendence burn 2.0, and new P2E games on the Unreal Engine 5. That said, the relaunch hasn’t been completed yet, and there is no website.

Suspension of Trading
At the time of writing, Shiba Samurai was available on BEKX for purchase. However, the trade has been suspended. While we can say that it was the developers’ decision to go back to the drawing board and rework some aspects of Shiba Samurai, we don’t know the reason yet.
