Al Jalila Foundation and Quint
The Al Jalila Foundation’s goal of altering lives through medical research is one that Quint’s founders, developers, and partners fully support. They are honored to be able to assist in this effort. Moreover, Quint takes pleasure in improving the quality of life in the community and upholding the highest standards of ethical behavior.
According to Mr. Mohammed Al Bulooki, Chairman of Quint, they are proud to be among the first in the UAE and the Middle East to embrace crypto charity. In addition, he added, they hope to increase the adoption of cryptocurrencies and DeFi by linking the Metaverse to the real world.
History of Cryptocurrencies and Al Jalila Foundation
The Al Jalila Foundation announced on June 3rd that it would accept charitable contributions in cryptocurrency. As a result, it is the UAE’s first healthcare charity to do so. The foundation also announced a collaboration with a well-known cryptocurrency platform.
Dubai’s mission is to be a forerunner in adopting cutting-edge financial technology and a major center for digital assets. Moreover, this innovative step in the nonprofit sector aims to broaden the foundation’s contribution channels, network, and capabilities. Dr. Abdulkareem Sultan Al Olama, CEO of Al Jalila Foundation, stated that they rely on voluntary donations. We look for novel ways to expand donation channels to support programs.
As a result, allowing the growing number of cryptocurrency users to donate to the Al Jalila Foundation for meaningful reasons is a win-win situation for both the donor community and the foundation as a new form of fundraising. They are also very proud to be the first healthcare charity in the UAE to accept cryptocurrency payments.
