The CEEK VR (CEEK) price is in the green today as the metaverse-centric coin catches a bid.

Non-fungible tokens (NFTs), the metaverse, and decentralized finance (DeFi) are three of the most popular topics in the crypto space right now.

Each plays a role helping the world transition into a future characterized by mass adoption of blockchain technology.

CEEK VR, with its entertainment and creator-focused platform, is aiming to use the metaverse to connect music artists, athletes, and creators of digital content with their fans.

Data from TradingView and CoinMarketCap shows that since hitting a low of $0.095 on June 13, the CEEK token price has gained a whopping 322%, to hit a daily high of $0.399 on July 14. Its 24-hour trading volume spiked 220% to $50,799,310 over the same period.

Major partnerships and World Music Award’s NFTs

Early this year, CEEK entered into a partnership with Universal Music – granting the protocol the VR rights to live performances for many popular artists including Lady Gaga, Bon Jovi, U2, Sting, and Ziggy Marley.

The crypto project also recently hosted a gift lounge at the 2022 Grammy, giving CEEK high profile exposure.

These may have earned CEEK a new level of exposure for the project since a number of influencers and music fans would have visited the pop-up.

CEEK is also partnered with Apple, Meta Oculus, and Microsoft, which are three of the biggest names working on virtual reality and augmented reality. In the future, these partnerships could expand access beyond the protocol’s native CEEK VR headset to other VR headsets.

The latest partnership CEEK VR has struck is with the World Music Awards. As part of that deal the CEEK Metaverse will provide fans with an exclusive NFT collection, access to voting and more. Additionally, fans will be able to attend the award show virtually, including walking a virtual red carpet and get a behind-the-scenes experience.

The World Music Awards is one of the most prestigious music awards shows in the world. Awards are presented to the ld’s best-selling artists in various categories and to the best-selling artists from each major territory.

A spokesperson for the World Music Awards commenting on the partnership with CEEK said:

“Having the virtual reality and NFT component is a truly unique way for fans to own a piece of history and be forever connected to the artist they love and cherish, while supporting a very worthy cause at the same time.”

Mary Spio, the founder and CEO of CEEK, will serve as the executive producer of the awards show for the very first time.

She said, “The amazing contributions of the World Music Awards over more than 3 decades [have] illuminated various dark corners of our world. We are so honored for CEEK to partner with this phenomenal event that gives back to so many communities all around the world.”

In May, CEEK VR partnered with Daddy Yankee and Lito MC Cassidy to release an action-packed music video. Earlier partnerships for CEEK include collaborations with iconic artists like Demi Lovato, Lady Gaga, and much more.

CEEK has also secured an exclusive deal to create Branded VR Headsets for NBA teams including Sacramento Kings.

The metaverse company is also expected to partner with TV series Hollywood Rooftop and producer Brett Leonard. Hollywood Rooftop’s VR content will be exclusively available on the CEEK platform.

 

Stayin the Course of The Development Roadmap

A second factor helping attract attention to CEEK has been success with hitting development milestones.

The project has rolled out the CEEK crypto marketplace, providing users – Ceekers – with an outlet for buying CEEK VR headsets and other products using CEEK tokens.

Development news updates published on the company’s website reveal that “we have completed development of key milestones indicated in our Q2 roadmap and is now in the process of launch preparation”.

CEEK’s development team has also completed a private Ethereum-based blockchain that serves as a ledger for CEEK’s voting application. Ceekers can now vote using the blockchain smart contract.

The CEEK token price has also benefited after being classified by the FMA, Liechtenstein’s financial regulatory body, as a utility token.

The July 15 Metaverse Land Sale

Last week, CEEK VR announced its upcoming Land sale will take place on July 15. The much-anticipated private sale will provide an opportunity for users to buy Land in the CEEK Metaverse.

Users can buy virtual real estate in the CEEK world, including properties, streets, and neighborhoods.

Phase 1 of the CEEKLAND Sale starts on July 15, 2022 at 14:00 UTC.

To participate in the private sale you are required to create CEEK accounts at www.ceek.com. The Land sale will be accessed at land.ceek.com using the www.ceek.com login information.

Currently, CEEK VR deploys MetaMask and its own CEEK Wallet for purchases, with additional wallets to be added in the future.

On Thursday, July 14, CEEK promoted the Land sale in a tweet listing the different types of blocks within the CEEK metaverse “each with varying size, rarity and reward opportunities”.

CEEK VR Price Prediction: CEEK Readies For A 56% Upswing

With CEEK’s Land sale starting tomorrow, the CEEK price is expected to continue rising.

If the price turns up from the current level, it may rise above the $0.4 resistance level towards the recent $0.467 high.

The elevated position of the Relative Strength Index (RSI) at 71 and the up-trend of the 50-day Simple Moving Average (SMA), indicate that for now buyers are in full control of CEEKs price. Although the overbought signal is flashing on the RSI, given the positive news flow there is credibility in taking a bullish view.

Nevertheless, the position of the RSI in the overbought region does point to a possible trend reversal in the near future. If this happens, CREEK VR’s price may drop below the consolidation range at $0.30, paving the way for further losses toward the 50-day SMA at $0.20.

If the price goes lower than that, then the bears may be bolstered – pull the price down towards the $0.15 level and later to the $0.1 psychological level. Traders could expect CEEK to form a local bottom here before staging a comeback.
