Hi there! Welcome to, #TheBeard. A place you learn anything in 90 seconds!

Today I’d like to talk about, What is Snackable Content?

Snackable content lasts just a few seconds. It is meant to grab the attention of the viewer and have them eager to come back for more. By producing snackable content you can help you or your business get found, grab consumers attention and drive traffic to your website.

Snackable content is defined as bite size nuggets of information that can quickly be consumed, understood and shared.

You can easily turn any content into, snackable content. Videos, quotes, infographics, and memes are all great examples.

The human attention span is not getting any longer! Way back in the year 2000 is was estimated that the average span of attention was a whopping 12 seconds. Now a days it’s said to be around 8. And if you’re diving into the right studies, some may say it’s even as low as 2.8 seconds!!!

This leaves very little room for any deviation from the message or value you are trying to paint for your potential consumer.

Overall your content must be 3 easy things: Searchable, Shareable, and Snackable!

We live in the age of information overload! People are time poor which creates a lack of attention to lengthy content.

Your goal is to produce content that consumers can quickly engage with, definitely on-the-go, and chances are that they’ll be on a smaller screen. This in turn will hopefully leave them hungry for more, similar content in the future.

Hope you enjoyed this episode of #TheBeard and will take a stab at producing your own snackable content!
