In a web of over 8 billion pages, it’s easy for your work to get lost in the crowd. There are lots of great writers, but much fewer who can actually create content people will keep coming back to read. If you want to be one of these few, then here are three things your content needs to be in order to make the cut.

Easy-to-Read

What most great writers realize is that a big blob of text is going to lose readers. In order to counteract that, great articles use headers, bullet points, italicized and bolded fonts, and more in order to break up articles and make sections stand out. Ultimately, this makes articles much easier to read. Next time you encounter yourself listing items in a paragraph, bullet the points instead. You can also look for paragraphs which can be grouped together and come up with sub-headers for them. This is a great way to make content easier to read.

Useful

Next time you start writing or are wondering which piece of content to get when you buy unique articles, ask yourself, “Will this article benefit my reader?” If the answer is no, then don’t write it. But if yes, make it happen. There are too many pieces of content out there that add little value. Make your articles a great reference and people will appreciate your work.

Goes the Extra Mile

As I previously stated, there are too many mediocre articles out there. If you want to be great, then you need to go an extra mile. Maybe this is done by expanding that paragraph that could have been more in-depth? Maybe you decide to detail the steps involved in an action you say to take? Maybe you create an image that supports your content? Whatever it is, if you put in that extra 10 percent your readers will notice.
