McDonald’s is trying out something new and this time it’s not a menu item. It’s McDonald’s TV, an in-restaurant television channel that will play unique content created by the corporation.
The content will have a local focus and might highlight “Mighty Moms,” The McDonald’s Achievers,” or “McDonald’s Channel Music News.”
The McDonald’s channel will feature commercials eight minutes out of each hour, 90 seconds of which will be for McDonald’s. McDonald’s TV is being tested in California for now, but if it’s well-received, you can expect to find it in a McDonald’s near you soon.
