The internet had a lot of feelings when the first official trailer for “Marvel’s The Defenders” debuted last week. Actress and YouTuber Lauren Francesca was just one of the many fans who expressed their excitement over Netflix’s upcoming superheroes series.

During a YouTube livestream, Francesca expressed her excitement for the thrilling trailer that made it to YouTube’s trending section and received over 7 million views. She reacted to the trailer’s music, set design, and intense fight scenes, which she says inspire her to learn fight choreography. “I love the superhero stuff, and honestly, it really makes me want to try some fight choreography,” Francesca said. “I’m really super excited about it.”

Netflix’s new action-packed crossover series follows four Marvel heroes—Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, who unite to save New York City. The series features Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, Finn Jones, Rosario Dawson and Sigourney Weaver.

Showrunner and writer Marco Ramirez told Entertainment Weekly how each character’s story fits together and how they ultimately set the overall tone:
One of the positive aspects of how the other shows work is that they focus on a main character, and in the end, they aren’t about superpowers. They center on someone with a significant flaw facing a major crisis and finding a way to overcome it. Early on, I found it useful not to focus on their differences, but instead to consider how much they share in common.
The comic book TV shows “Daredevil” and “Jessica Jones” both premiered in 2015, while “Luke Cage” debuted last year.”Iron Fist” launched on Netflix in March.
