You have never seen a pregnancy announcement quite like this. Samuel Rader, one half of the YouTube vlogging team Sam and Nia, surprised his wife Nia with the news of her own pregnancy.

The video begins with Sam in the bathroom, just arriving home from work; hoping that everyone would have been asleep so that he could initiate his plan. “I’ve had this dream about announcing Nia’s pregnancy to her,” he says. “I want to find out before she does.”

So he decides to take matters into his own hands, literally. He explains that Nia pees a lot throughout the evening but that the night before at 1:30 a.m., she didn’t flush the toilet for fear of waking the baby. He takes the opportunity to use this as “a specimen,” (channeling his job as a nurse) complete with a pregnancy test in hand.

Overjoyed at seeing the two lines appear, he heads for the kitchen where Nia is preparing breakfast for their two kids, Symphony and Abram. Unbeknownst to her that Sam is about to tell her she’s pregnant, she questions what he is doing to her, to which he replies that “he’s just filming her cute face.”

He teases her that she can’t have wine and even suggests making a bologna sandwich, encouraging her to tell everyone that he is full of bologna. Considering she still hasn’t taken a pregnancy test, she is obviously confused as to what he’s doing.

After playfully baiting Nia for a couple of minutes, Sam runs back to the bathroom to retrieve the pregnancy test. Prompting her to pull something out of his shirt pocket, she discovers the positive pregnancy test, which she thinks he brought home from work.

After calling him a dork and questioning whether he’s pregnant, to which one of their children say, “Only mommies get pregnant,” she is still convinced that the whole thing is a joke. But, as he says in the video, the joke’s on her.

When she discovers that she is, in fact, the one who is pregnant, she’s on top of the world. Although she says it’s “not fair” since she had plans to tell him when she found out, she is nonetheless ecstatic.

Their daughter also expresses her excitement, exclaiming to Abram that he’s going to be a big brother. Symphony tells her father that she is most excited “to hold the baby while mommy makes dinner and breakfast.”

The couple even says they plan on doing updates, with a possible time-lapse of the journey.

The day after, they posted a video expressing their pure bliss over their family of five. They share some reactions from family and friends, and give updates as to how quickly the views are rising on their new viral video. Currently, the video has over 7 million views.

Also, if you think the couple looks familiar, then you’re right. The “good looking parents” went viral last year for their lip-synched performance of Frozen’s “Love Is An Open Door,” which garnered over 20 million views.

The vlogging couple also happens to have over a quarter of a million subscribers, posting daily videos of their Disney lip-synching skills, hilarious experiences with their children and simple, everyday adventures.
