YouTube has been busy curating content. Shortly after the biggest video sharing platform shared its list of top 10 YouTube ads in India for 2013, it released the YouTube Rewind list, showcasing the year’s most popular videos on YouTube in India and around the world.
The top 10 trending videos of 2013 on YouTube in India includes movie trailers, short films, popular TV shows, cricket, made for web videos and nursery rhymes too!
The trailer for the superhero movie Krrish 3 was viewed over 19 million times, making it the most popular video of 2013. Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 teaser took second place with more than 13 million views. The comedy short film ‘Viva,’ in Telugu with English subtitles, came in third with over 3 million views. Following the top three are an episode of Comedy Nights with Kapil, MTV Roadies, and the Top 10 best catches in cricket history, among others.
