After reviewing dozens of toys, 3D Liquid Art has been chosen by the kid judges as the season one winner of ABC’s “The Toy Box,” in addition to securing a deal with toy manufacturer Mattel. The toy, now known as Artsplash, is now available exclusively at Toys”R”Us.
The liquid art toy, paired with an Aquapen, uses colored water to create 3D masterpieces. The colored water can be placed on six different Artsheets and later wiped clean for endless fun.
“Ever since I was young, inventing was my dream, and I created Artsplash™ to give kids a new way to create their own masterpieces, with something other than just a paint brush and paper,” Ryan Stewart, the inventor of Artsplash, said in a press release. “To be able see something I created on-shelf at Toys”R”Us is a childhood dream come true.”
Ultimately, it all came down to Artsplash, Candy Krusher and Lightbox Terrier in the final round. The other toys that were featured this season and earned the title of “finalist” include Arya Ball (eliminated by Noah Ritter), Chromo Tag (eliminated by Toby Grey), Wiggies (eliminated by Sophia Grace Brownlee) and Ballerina Doll (eliminated by Aalyrah Caldwell).
Artsplash is currently available at Toys”R”Us for $24.99. Candy Krusher, now known as Sweet Shaper, and Noisy Persons Cards will also be available starting June 1.

Each week on “The Toy Box,” hosted by “Modern Family” star Eric Stonestreet, toys were presented to Dylan’s Candy Bar owner Dylan Lauren, toy guru Jim Silver and Pixar creative director of Consumer Products, Jen Tan. If the toy impressed the mentors, it moved on to round two, where it was brought before a panel of four kid judges—Sophia Grace Brownlee, Aalyrah Caldwell, Toby Grey and Noah Ritter.
