Youtube’s New “One Channel” Layout and Design

The only thing constant in social marketing is change!

YouTube has now made their new layout, known as “One Channel”, available to everyone and there are a few things you need to know.

And RicePirate has a very tounge-in-cheek take on the things that some will find annoying…

Some Features of One Channel:

1. Styling Consistency Across All Device Sizes. This means that your branding is mobile compatible.

2. Sections. Easy groupings of content make it easier to avoid the need for sub-channels.

3. Channel Trailer (aka Unsubscribed Video). Add a high impact video for those who are not yet subscribers to encourage a subscription.

4. Associated Channels Connection. Easily link to other related channels from your main home page. Useful if you have multiple channels.
