Twitter announced on their blog today that Tweets are now embeddable. You may have seen Tweets embedded on websites over the last couple of weeks but it looks like Twitter made the official announcement today. An embeddable Tweet will look something like this:

As you can see, you have the option to Reply, Retweet, Favorite and Follow the Twitter account right from your blog or website.
How to Embed a Tweet:
Embedding Tweets are easy.
1. Go to your Twitter stream.
2. Find the Tweet you would like to embed.
3. Click on details. It will look like this:

4. On the next screen, you will see:

5. Grab this code:

6. Paste the code on your website or blog.






Thanks for the article. I look forward to having this ability. It appears as if the embed option is only available to those with the new twitter.
With that being said, do you have any hints towards getting that more quickly. I upgraded the iphone app over 3 weeks ago, as suggested by Twitter. I still don’t have the new Twitter functions such as embeds.
