Adrianne Curry: Social Media Has A Scent

You might remember beautiful Adrianne Curry from winning America’s Next Top Model or for marrying Peter Brady (okay, Christopher Knight)… but now she’s marketing the first ever fragrance to be sold exclusively through online and social media channels.

In partnership with CrowdGather – one of the leading networks of community forums – Adrianne will be promoting a pheromone-based fragrance called Erox. Erox contains notes of grapefruit, bergamot, pepper, lavender and amber and “CrowdGather has the exclusive rights to distribute the product online through affiliate internet marketing channels, and will also launch the product through the use of social media and forum communities,” says the product’s official press release.

The pheromones in the fragrance are said to make users more confident and social – but that’s not all it does – if you know what I mean… According to the press release, Erox “is the first commercial product to contain Human Pheromone Sciences’ patent pending Muiricin Angluycone (ER303), a compound that has been shown to increase arousal, excitement, social-warmth, and sensuality in both men and women during a double blind placebo controlled study.” Hmm. I find that very intriguing. 

Says Adrianne, “I love the idea of using a fragrance that actually makes people more social. Erox is fun and flirty with a broad appeal due to its unisex nature.”
