Microsoft announced Monday it will update Windows 8 later this year, a move that could mark a major turnaround for the brand.The Financial Times reports the tech giant is preparing a U-turn in key elements of its relatively new operating system, “marketing one of the most prominent admissions of failure for a new mass-market consumer product since Coca-Cola’s New Coke fiasco nearly 30 years ago.”
