Twitter Helps Jim Thome Celebrate His 600th Career Home Run

MLB slugger Jim Thome joined the 600 home run club as he hit number 599 and 600 in back to back at bats tonight against the Detroit Tigers.  Jim Thome who had great seasons with both the Cleveland Indians and Philadelphia Phillies is currently playing for the Minnesota Twins as he finishes out his career.  Jim Thome is considered one of the most respected players in baseball and one of the pure home run hitters in an era riddled with steroid use.  To help celebrate Jim Thome’s 600th career home run, fans took to Twitter to offer their congratulations.  Below is a look at some of the well-wishes.
