Kasey Kahne made it to the finish line and claimed the Sprint Cup this past Sunday. It was actually at the expense of driver Denny Hamlin who was leading the pack until he needed a tire changed at the pit stop. It cost Hamlin the win in the competition. Hamlin was driving a Toyota.
The win made it possible for Kahne to inch closer to the 12 spots that will ultimately decide who the NASCAR champion will be for the current year. If Kahne can make it to the top place, then that will sure be an honor for him.
