Jingle bells, Jingle bells…

Last year, there was an NBA television commercial which featured the hottest NBA stars performing “Carol of the Bells” by only dribbling the basketball. Now that was a pretty cool video, so it was only natural that they were going to come out with another creative video in hopes of topping their efforts from last year.

This year, the hottest NBA stars are doing their own little rendition of “Jingle Bells,” which has been appropriately renamed to “Jingle Hoops.”

If you watch the video above, you’ll see the hottest talent in the NBA performing their own rendition of the song by shooting the basketball into nets that are lined with sleigh bells.

Here’s some Jingle Hoops behind the scenes footage:

The NBA stars in the video are:

  • James Harden – Houston Rockets
  • Kevin Durant – Oklahoma City Thunder
  • Steve Nash – L.A. Lakers
  • Derrick Rose – Chicago Bulls
  • Stephen Curry – Golden State Warriors
  • LeBron James – Miami Heat

Choreography played a huge role in the making of this video. The stars above shoot 3-pointers in a very carefully choreographer manner.

By the time its all said and done, you hear a pretty sweet rendition of Jingle Bells. At the end of the video, LeBron James comes in and dunks the basketball as a sort of finale.

The NBA celebrates Christmas in a variety of ways and these creative commercials is just one of them. As a matter of fact, this commercial is actually a promotional tool to promote the Christmas Day uniforms that teams will be wearing on December 25th.
