    Michael, staggering figures on the number of duplicate accounts companies retain on each SM site. The key in social interactions since the dawn of time has been understanding your audience (first step, listening) and communicating with them in a way they find appropriate (second step, broadcasting). SPAM canons are the complete antithesis of that.

    • Yep, staggering it is. I think it’s important to understand what’s driving this. That’s why I’ve also talked about the leadership gap we have in B2B marketing. We all have stopped talking about digital as if everyone “gets it” but most don’t.
