The Fri-Up: 007 Fever.
The countdown to the next James Bond, Skyfall, has officially started. It’s hard to believe with his ever youthful looks and incredible agility but in a year of 50th anniversaries (The Beatles, The Rolling Stones) James Bond (the film franchise) is also 50 this year. The excitement has been building for a while but things accellerated this week when Skyfall’s theme tune was leaked online and Adele then confirmed via Twitter that she was indeed the voice. Cue a hasty digital release of the track today.

So we see the spike for the leak of the theme tune on 30th September, and subsequently Adele’s confirmation, but by far the most noise comes from the official release – seems we’re not all pirates!
We don’t need to prove to you that almost everybody loves James Bond – but we can, so we thought we would below.

As we race towards the official release of Skyfall on 23rd October, we’ll be keeping an eye on the stats and see if the film lives up to the initial buzz… ultimately though, we all know that James Bond is invincible.
