Hi Chad, how would you compare this to BuzzSumo?

  • Chad Pollitt says:

    Jeremy:

I’ve had only limited exposure with BuzzSumo so I’m really not qualified to give an opinion, but hopefully someone that sees this can chime in.

I think that this is just a pathetic pivot showing that they don’t know where they’re going. Franckly their curation and scheduling features are just a desperate move, entering a market already overcrowded with similar technologies. Another one of those companies wasting investors’ money.

    Hi Jeremy,

I’m a co-founder of BuzzSumo. I like what Klout have done recently, I personally feel it’s a much more valuable now than it was before the pivot.

Obviously I’m biased, but I’d argue BuzzSumo provides much deeper content insights, whereas it seems Klout is focused on a simple platform just for finding stuff to share.

For a start, we have the share counts for each article. This allows you to find content that works on the network you’re targeting. We’ve also got more advanced filters and data on who’s shared an article.
