Instagram has made a great update to their social network.
Today Instagram has introduced a new feature called ‘Photos of You’ where you can add share who’s with you in a photo (similar to tagging someone in a photo on Facebook).
A tab on your profile will appear when you download the new version on your phone. It’s a great new way for consumers to interact with brands and retailers, and vice versa.
Below, I’ll show an example of using the ‘Photos of You’ feature with Redbull.

The new option when uploading a photo is ‘Add People.’
Simple tap ‘Add People’ and it will bring you to the below page. Tap the photo as instructed, and you will be able to search for any user to tag, even if you’re not following them.
Once you’ve tagged as many people as you want, tap ‘Done.’
Once you publish the image just as before, you can tap it and the tag will pop up. Simple!
