    But I think you are confusing social selling with social prospecting.
    Sales and selling do not live in a vacuum. I have sold to and solicited thousands of B2B buyers in my over decade and a half career and most of them are way to busy to be tweeting, Facebooking or whatever.
    You did not detail anything specific. Industry, types, etc.. The devil is always in the details.
    Is social media a great way to find that new P&C insurance customer? Yes. Is it a great way to continue to get out your message to a defined audience? Absolutley.
    But selling, especially in a B2B environment still requires a professional salesperson to marry prospect to their representative company.
    Sales and selling is a human transaction. So go and be human.
