Using keywords more than what they should be used will cause harm to your website and even cause it to be de-indexed, so do not take this risk. While you want your site to show in search engine results, you want to provide quality content to the reader first and foremost.

This is all really great info. I am helping a photographer optimize and provide copy of her services section now. A technique I am trying is to get what she would like to put in those section so I can capture her voice in the writing. She is providing a local service so I think this could help her business out rather than write in my voice. Very easy nonetheless.

The part about checking with Google about the Keyword density is important. Content with overstuffed keywords are no longer required.
