Prospective clients (and even friends that own a business) often ask me, “Pat, should I advertise my business on the internet?” They may even ask more specifically, “Should I use Google AdWords for my business?”
The answer to that question is… it depends.
It’s Not For Every Business

Did you know that the latest number I have heard tossed around is that 1.3 billion (with a B) searches occur EVERY DAY on the internet. That number has increased a staggering 1,100% in the last four years! That is only projected to continue increasing.

Also consider that the people using a search engine are actually looking for you business. They aren’t just driving down the highway and see a sign that advertises your business (yawn!). They are actively looking for exactly what you offer.
