The answer to that question is… it depends.
It’s Not For Every Business

Consider that more and more people are turning to the internet to find answers to their questions, or solutions to their problems. If YOU need a plumber, or your gutters cleaned, or your house painted, or your air conditioning isn’t working, where do you go?
You Can’t Argue With These Numbers
Did you know that the latest number I have heard tossed around is that 1.3 billion (with a B) searches occur EVERY DAY on the internet. That number has increased a staggering 1,100% in the last four years! That is only projected to continue increasing.
If one lake has more fish tomorrow that it had yesterday, why wouldn’t you fish there?
Also consider that the people using a search engine are actually looking for you business. They aren’t just driving down the highway and see a sign that advertises your business (yawn!). They are actively looking for exactly what you offer.
Who wouldn’t want a piece of that action?

Even though internet advertising is an excellent (lucrative) option for businesses, there are many true stories of companies that have spent a fair amount of coin in an attempt to get more customers or clients… only to lose their shirts.
