  • Thanks for sharing these trends. I have to agree that Google makes up for most search traffic these days – based on traffic sources I’m seeing on my website. While SEO may not be dead, those who are into shady practices are finding it harder to game the system this time. One thing’s for sure – people are smarter. You don’t just catch their attention and hope that they will convert into loyal customers; you have to work harder than that in keeping them engaged and.. there are just no shortcuts.

  • Great post with lots of killer stats and graphs. I think 2013 will be a very interesting year for search. Google will continue to dominate and authorship will continue to rise in importance.

    So many low end sites and businesses were wiped out with Panda and Penguin, so it will be interesting to see what black and white animals come out this year! Watch out for the Google Zebra!
