Keeping Customers Happy with QR Codes, Video & Partnership Marketing image UM UA pizza qr code 300x273We like to think we’re pretty innovative when it comes to attracting new prospects to and leasing units for Urbane Apartments and our other clients, Paragon Apartments and Landmark Apartments.

But once you bring them in, you’ve got to keep them happy.

So what do QR codes, partnership marketing and online video have to do with that?

They’re all part of what makes living at Urbane Apartments the beginning a fun experience.

As part of the first step of the retention program at Urbane Apartments, we’re taking some of the hassle out of the move-in process by providing dinner on us and getting that dinner to the table fun and exciting.

We partnered with a Jet’s Pizza franchise that services most of Urbane Apartment’s communities. For the cost of a free pizza and some promotional pizza boxes, we’re bringing them what we hope are a new group of loyal customers, who are getting their first introduction to Jet’s with a nifty QR code graphic inside an empty pizza box that’s also stocked with some paper plates, napkins and plastic silverware. This isn’t just your boring and generic black and white QR code, but one that’s embedded on a bold and colorful pizza graphic.

Given most of our residents have smart phones, the QR code is linked to a video of what we think is a humorous take on the drudgery of the move-in process that provides a special number to order a free pizza that gets delivered to the apartment. And like the QR code, this video is packed with creativity and personality.

Oh, and we stock the fridge with some Vitamin Water that’s provided by Glaceau, a longstanding marketing partner.

We think having Jet’s and Glaceau provide free product is a great way for them to bond with customers who will have a positive experience with their products, get them talking about their experience with their friends, and, of course, return.

Of course, we want to keep Urbane Apartments residents happy, too. We’re also hoping that they’ll talk about their positive move-in experience with their friends, too.
