Inbound Marketing: a Product Launch Must-Have for 2012

How things have changed in just a few years. We’re in the process of helping a client launch a new brand and while planning strategies and tactics to support the launch, we were struck by how different our list looks than it may have just five years ago.

True, some things will always be priorities like a strong brand identity, a trademarkable name, recognizable logo, and clearly defined competitive advantage. However, the must-haves and nice-to haves have definitely evolved. Inbound Marketing wasn’t even a thought!

Here’s a quick look at the basics of launching a new product today vs. just a few years ago.

Its crazy that only one activity, press releases, has the same priority as five years ago – and even that has changed in how it is executed!
