  1. Appreciate the tutorial, Chris – but I’d personally love to hear more about why you think LinkedIn recommendations aren’t useful. Most of my business leads and jobs have come from people seeing my LinkedIn recommendations. I think endorsements do have some major issues, especially as they don’t necessarily consider how close the endorser and endorsee have been from a work perspective.

      Jeremy, I’m happy to hear it works for you. Given the amount of recommendations that are hustled or traded in Social Media I dont put much stock in them. Thats my opinion and I’ve polled many users about it. But being an employer for 25 years I dont put much stock in references either. If you get business from it, all the more power to you.
