There still seems to be a lot of confusion about what is a reliable link building process that can be trusted not to fall foul of Google and also that will improve traffic.

    This is a handy resource, thanks! I like how you added relevant tools on the side for each process. I think it’s helpful to note that the process doesn’t always go from steps 1-14 consecutively. Often times when executing a link building campaign unexpected obstacles require some improvisation or creative brainstorming. Thus, some steps may have to be repeated.

    Agreed – this is certainly not a set in stone process but I was internally documenting what we usually do to build links and decided to make it public; these are perhaps the common steps that we usually take. Every campaign differs and some will not have parts that this has and others may have additional parts.

    Cool, handy and clearly shows that all those “hundreds top backlinks for a dime” sellers are scams. It requires work, hard work to get genuine links.
