  2. What ties these 5 core elements together is social media. After you create say a video or an e-book, social media provides a fantastic way to share your new content. Sites such as Facebook and Twitter have the potential to reach more audience members which then drives them back to your blog and website so they can enjoy more of your content and become better familiarized with your brand.

      Agree with you Nick. Actually I would go further that if Jacey is saying blogging is SM per se, she is wrong. Folk nowadays simply check out a company’s Fbook & at times now Pinterest just for presence. Once done they are much more likely to buy.

    Great infographic! Content marketing is typically the cornerstone of the marketing stategy we recommend to clients. Needless to say, I have a wealth of experience in it, and this is one of the best things I’ve seen to communicate the basis of a content marketing inititive.

    As Niok commented, social media is a key part of your content distribution strategy. If your content isn’t getting shared, you’re not getting anywhere near the most from your content marketing campaign.
