How to Link Pinterest and Facebook – an Instructographic

How to Link Pinterest and Facebook – an Instructographic image pinterest instructographic topNow that more people are getting used to Pinterest, one common question is “how can I link Pinterest and Facebook?”. I have produced this handy visual guide to the different options available.

As a basic setting, Pinterest gives you three connections to Facebook. You can tell Pinterest to let you log in using your Facebook account. For this to work, you will need to be logged into Facebook. The first time you connect, Facebook will ask you if you approve the connection between Pinterest and Facebook. From then on, you will be able to log into Pinterest via the Facebook button instead of filling in the login form – as long as you are already logged into Facebook at the time.

You can also ask Pinterest to notify you when one of your Facebook friends joins Pinterest. This is a great notification because you can then welcome those people, follow them or re-pin their content. They will perhaps reciprocate.

Finally, if you have a Facebook page, you can import your Pinterest content into a tab on that page.
