Animal Species At Risk in Africa

Out of all continents, the African continent has one of the most endangered animals worldwide. The variety and abundance of wildlife in Africa is shrinking day by day as humans take over more wild landscapes driving these animals out of their homes. Poaching still runs wild in most African countries, despite governmental efforts, and, coupled with the agriculture and logging industries, many species of mammals are under threat. These include the gorilla, elephant, lion and rhino, most of them a victim of the multi-billion dollar illegal poaching industry.
