  • Thanks – a good summary with some helpful hints.

I think it’s awesome that G+ now offers brand pages, and I think it will be less spammy than Facebook’s business pages. One less thing Facebook can claim to have over Google Plus. I made a podcast for my class debating Facebook vs Google Plus. One of the points the Facebook debator said was about business pages. The very next day Google announced brand pages! Weird huh? Anyway, if you want to you can vote for my podcast here: http://bit.ly/u9vo5h. You don’t have to. No pressure, but if you do mine is Social Force’s Podcast. Great post by the way! I like d it a lot!

  • Great ideas. I had missed the ability to use hashtags. I love the ability to selectively post content to specific circles rather than blast everyone. It encourages more engagement since you are sharing only content that a circle would be interested in.

  • Hi Tiffany,

I really enjoyed reading your article on engaging an audience with Google+. I agree that unique content is important because it helps you stand out from the crowd. I also did not know that Google+ supported hashtag and I appreciate that piece of information and will use that in my own Google+ posts. We just wrote a blog on Google+ and how to use it: http://www.grmwebsite.com/blog/bid/67691/How-To-Add-Google-To-Your-Social-Media-Marketing-Strategy
