  • Being more personal in interacting with your fans is indeed a very reasonable approach in order to have a good relationship with them.

  • We just started a Facebook page for our non-profit, and it’s been very interesting to see what works and what doesn’t. While there is definitely a lot of back end R&D that you need to put into your social media campaign, I think a lot of it is just simple trial and error and using analytic to see what sticks and what doesn’t. Regardless, definitely agree with Ravi in the importance of being transparent, and both Mikes in terms of creating captivating and engagement content to drive conversation. We have started incorporating more images as that has gotten the best traction, along with simple posts that aren’t too big to inspire people to actually read (and hopefully share) them.
