Facebook Promoted Posts: A Premium Reach Generation Tool!

At a recent Facebook Marketing Conference, Facebook introduced many upcoming changes to the tools, resources and advertising platform available to businesses and promoters.

One of these changes, that has recently been rolled out, is the new “Promoted Posts” feature, which provides business page admins the opportunity to not only easily create a “sponsored post” but also to get those posts into the news feeds of more fans than might otherwise see it.

It’s important to note that this revenue model did not come with a cut to Page-owned Post visibility but rather as a solution by which admins can work around the average 15% visibility their posts currently get. (Ever feel like your page is “dead”? This has been why. It’s due to EdgeRank and some other stuff.)

I really like finally having a way to reach more than the usual 15% of my Facebook Fans… even if it costs me a few bucks!

PS: Combined with the new built-in Post Scheduling Tool and the new Admin Role Manager, this is a neat growth phase for Facebook.
