Creating Community Engagement on Facebook

Engagement is king for brands on Facebook. Just because someone “Likes” your brand, doesn’t mean they are your friend or that they will automatically read your posts. The best way to change this perception is to get your audience to engage with you. On Facebook, this means likes, comments and shares. 1. Photos

Images are a great way to get your audience’s attention. Everyone has heard the saying “a picture is worth a thousand words” well on social media a picture is better than a thousand words. Asking a question may seem obvious, but many brands post articles or other information without engaging their audience at the same time. Questions can encourage your audience to read the article and share their comments, instead of just glossing over the post.

5. Tips

Tips are great added value posts on your Facebook. They are easy to consume which makes it more likely for your audience to react.

6. Quotes

Quotes are a great way to get shares on Facebook. These posts often become personal to the reader due to their inspirational nature.
