The star of the movie “Dark Knight Rises” Christian Bale has expressed his feelings about the senseless shooting at the midnight screening of the film. It was reported that about 12 people were killed and 58 are wounded from the incident. He stated that even if he cannot truly understand the pain of the victims and their family, his heart goes out to them.

Before Christian Bale made this statement, “Dark Knight Rises” director, Christopher Nolan, called this incident a “senseless tragedy and the actions of the suspect as “unbearably savage”.

Out of respect to the victims’ family, Warner Brothers will not release the box office figures of this film this weekend but it will be released on Monday. The box office estimates has always been part of Hollywood but out of respects for the victims’ family, other studios are doing this as well.
