Profile: Tara Coomans

Professionally, my passions lie in creating marketing programs that allow businesses to engage with their customers. My two tools of choice are typically social media and event marketing, but I work with my clients to integrate their efforts through all their silos: PR, Sales, Customer Service etc. so they can get maximum results. President of Social Media Club Hawaii  (SMCHI) because its important to me to be part of this incredible movement in defining best practices and helping others understand their place in the social media sphere.

I am opinionated..I come from the camp of "tell 'em what they need to hear, not what they want to hear." My blog posts reflect the passion and honesty I bring to all of my clients.

Personally, I am a wife, sister, daughter, friend and all around nut! Rudy, my Jack Russell Terrier one of my passions. I also love to cook (although I'm not always good at it) and sometimes my cooking is so bad, I need to wash it down with wine or sake, so I have interests there as well. I love to dive and I love night diving.  Snow skiing is something  I've been doing successfully if not frequently since the age of 3.
