Profile: Simon Bowthorpe

Simon Bowthorpe is the Managing Director of FP7 and UM in Qatar and has two decades of experience in advertising and media across EMEA/MENA and the Americas. 

With a varied background that includes advertising, digital marketing, international business development, creative and media agency management, social media strategy and branding, he has created relationships with clients to maximize their investments and ensure the success of their integrated marketing campaigns.

Simon worked at Grey Advertising, Young & Rubicam and CMG and was CEO of two media agencies before working as a new business and client service consultant to global media and advertising agencies, prior to joining MCN.

Simon is active on college campuses and at corporate events speaking on a variety of topics related to social media, digital marketing, career orientation and negotiation techniques.
